Father's Day Fiasco

So this is the second year in a row that I've (ME not Michael or the kids) set off the smoke alarm while cooking bacon. Isn't that supposed to happen on Mother's Day with the Dad burning things. However Mother's day breakfast is gorgeous because Michael makes great omelets. Maybe I just am not cut out for cooking in the morning. The times I do make waffles and pancakes for the kids it's usually for lunch or dinner. I'm a great cook, at least I think so, but I'm a better baker and I don't usually do either before 10am. The times I make cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles I make the night before so all I have to do in the morning is stick them in the oven. Anyway I just wanted to know if any one else has set off the smoke alarm cooking bacon.

Ian's 8 Weeks Old Today and I thought I'd put a more updated picture of him. This is from last week with Michael at the Little North Fork Hike we did on Memorial Day. He's starting to smile and getting big quick. So big in fact that he's always hungry and that's why I never have time to update my blog. Anyway just thought I'd share.
